A week and a half ago was my first OB appointment. The ultrasound was inconclusive to the sex of the baby, but was pointing towards a girl. Other than that everything went well. I have felt the baby move several times and whoever called them 'flutters' is seriously disturbed. They aren't flutters! There is something moving inside of your abdomen. Whatever, it's still cool. Sometimes it even takes my breathe away but it always makes me smile. My next appointment is Sept. 16. Two weeks to go and I already have ants in my pants. If the anticipation doesn't kill me- we'll talk then.
Jason is doing well in school so far, a bit stressed, but surviving. I am getting stressed about school as well. My professors are piling the work high and I don't even have my books yet.
Last weekend, Jason's parents came down to see us. We went up to Alton all day Saturday and went 4-wheeling with Tina and Kory. Had a blast, saw some deer, got a little too much sun. Thanks again Tina. Then lucky us, we had to speak in sacrament meeting in our new ward of two weeks. We both did AWESOME! if I do say so myself.
Now it's time to get down and dirty again with all our school work. One down, 15 weeks to go. Hurray!

We have been extremely busy the last few weeks. School starts next week and neither of us feel quite ready. 14 days ago we decided it would be easier to move before school started rather than during school. So in 14 days, we packed our home, moved into my parents basement and have only a few random boxes left to unpack before school starts in 4 days. Busy, busy, but doing well. The condo is still available if anyone needs a place to rent.
Jamie is loving it here with Aunt Hanna, Uncle Matt, Grandma, and Grandpa so close. It's a struggle to keep him here with me. It'll take us a little bit to get adjusted to our new home and routines. Until then I will deal kindly with the temper tantrums, the screaming, the squished tomatoes in the laundry basket and the refrigerator magnets scattered across my floor.
My first OB appointment is tomorrow. Jason thinks it's twins with at least one boy. I think there had only be two heartbeats in this body- mine and one baby. I don't know what we'd do with twins. Suspicions will be laid to rest tomorrow, hopefully. I am feeling much better most of the time, but the stress from the last few weeks has gotten me down the last couple days. However today was a very good day and I have high hopes for tomorrow.

Time out for mommy
I wrote this last week, but because we upgraded our home computer to the new Internet 9, I can no longer post. I can write but posting has to be done on my laptop. Anyway, this was last week:
Yesterday, we woke up to thousands of knats on our back porch. So after breakfast I turned on a movie for Jamie and went out back to clean up. I sprayed down the porch and made a huge mess. While I was outside, Jamie decided he wanted to come to. Because it was so messy, I didn't want him to come out and get wet and gross. I heard him yelling for me thru the door. I told him to go play and I'd be right in. When I was done I went to go back in and found my SON had flipped the deadbolt. I told him to come unlock the door. I heard him fiddling with the lock for a few seconds while he talked to me. Then came the silence.
Luckily, I had my phone on me and was able to call Jason. Being the wonderful husband he is, Jason quickly came home from work to let me back inside the house. While I waited I pulled some weeds, picked up some trash the wind has blown in, put the dirt back inside the planter, and picked up some toys.
Upon entering the house Jason found the little twit watching his movie with an entire roll of Rollo candies spread on the couch. Apparently, he got bored waiting for me to open the door and let me out. So he found himself a snack and went to watch his movie.
** Note to self: Do not leave your 2 year old son alone inside the house for any reason without taking your keys and phone.
Lucky for me yesterday was my best day since morning sickness started. Today hasn't been bad, but yesterday was awesome even with my son locking me out of my house.
We have been getting calls and emails galore so hopefully, we'll get renters in here soon. Other than that, we are doing just fine and waiting for school to start up again.
