Easter

Sunday morning all the kids lined up outside anxiously waiting to find Easter eggs in Mom and Dad's backyard.
Jamie and Brayden both were more interested in the candy than gathering the eggs. They each found an egg and were done until the candy was gone, then they'd search for the next. If you look closely Jamie's cheeks are puffed with candy. In his hands he holds candy he had to take out of his mouth because he couldn't chew everything he already had inside. It was a huge sticky mess, good thing he had extra clothes.

Jamie is still lighter than Brayden, but they are close enough that they were able to keep the teeter-totter moving. Brayden is one strong little boy as he was able to lift Jamie up a couple times before he was able to climb on.

Both boys loved the horse swing.

Then we all went to Church for Matthew's Homecoming talk. He and Hanna did awesome with their talks.

The Easter Bunny brought Jamie and Daddy matching cars- they have been playing with them all day everyday since. Thank you Easter Bunny.

Happy Easter Everyone!!! Remember that because of the Atonement and the sacrifices of our Savior we can all be together forever.

Birthday Party

Jamie's and Brayden's birthday are very close together. So Tina and I decided that with all the family in town, we'd throw a double birthday party.
My Birthday Boy!!!

The Birthday Boys!!!

The boys are in matching car T-shirt Tina made. They are so cute. (You can see it better in the top picture- Jamie is in blue, Brayden in red.) Tina made awesome cupcakes with race cars on top for the boys. They were SO cute. Jamie was in love, as cars are his first love. In fact, he ate two of the fondant cars.

Then it was present time.

He loved Loved LOVED the cars- he sleeps with them every night.

He received lots of toys from his family. Thank you all.

Police station and characters, stuffed bear, cars, 2 Monster trucks, Little People's fire truck and train station, and a ball.

Brayden received race cars and a track. He, Jamie, and Noah played with it for quite a while.

Happy Birthday Boys!!!

AHH!

Life has been crazy for the last little while. The Easter Event with my school last weekend went very well. It finally stopped raining right before it was time to start. It started raining again Saturday night long after we all went home. YAY! An answer to our prayers for sure. During this event our stove burner blew up when Jason ran home to boil some more eggs for the kids to dye. Lucky us, Jason was not standing next to it at that time and the hole is in my pan and not my husband. But my new burner works great and all is well. I have three weeks left of school and can't wait to be done. I have tons of last minute papers to write and must get to it while Jamie is sleeping. Tashina and Natalie spent the night with us on their way down to Las Vegas for a Pipe Band Competition. Good luck to you Girls and hope to see you on your way back home. Matt is coming home in 5 days!!! Anyone know a cure for Spring Fever? Until then . . .
