Jamie

While Hanna was trying on dresses, and I was helping her, Jamie was playing with Grandma Christensen. In some of Hanna pictures you can see them off to the side playing with different toys the sales peron had to keep children busy.He loved climbing on the block in front of the mirrors the girls stood on in their dresses. He even put on a show with one of his dances while we were waiting.

He was really good to stay close and played nicely with the other children.

Hanna

Today, Hanna with her Mia Maids Class, went to a Bridal Shop and tried on dresses. Luckily, Jamie and I were available as well. We had a blast helping her.

Poor girl she tried this one on for me. Thanks. I think it's totally cute. But when she got it on, we realized it had a slit on the side above her knee, not modest, but fixable and still SO cute.

This one is one of my favorites. It's sleek, slim, and very regal and elegant.

This was one of her favorites. We were very shocked and so was she
being that she is very anti-poof.

Totally my favorite dress hands down.
She loved it too.

This was the first and only short dress she tried on. Totally cute.

These are the girls that were with Hanna. They all looked beautiful their favorite dresses.

Goose egg

We had an awesome weekend. Friday and Saturday we were in Mt. Pleasant for his family reunion. We had a good time seeing everyone. This morning was Ethan's farewell in Orem. We'll miss you Uncle Ethan. The drive home was long but when Jamie wasn't sleeping, he was playing with Daddy. Dinner, dishes , and a few hours later, Mommy and Jamie were sitting at the computer trying to write Uncle Matt when WHACK! Jamie slipped on my lap and smacked into the corner of the desk. Now he has his first huge goose egg on his forehead. He screamed a bit but seems fine now. As you can see it's the purple and pink spot on his forehead, though the picture doesn't do it justice.
Thank you all for an awesome weekend. We'll have to do it again soon.

We finally did it!

Last week, Jason and I finally decided it was time for Jamie's first hair cut. He is 15 months old and his hair is always in his eyes. We both love it long, but enough is enough. So we pulled out the clippers and nothing happened. His hair was too fine to do any good. This is before. As you can see, it's really long and I couldn't get it to do anything.Jamie wasn't too sure about the clippers, but lucky for him it didn't last long. I do not know how to cut hair, and I didn't want his first to be a disaster. So Grandma Christensen came to the rescue. This is how long it was. Soo cute and curly.Grandma Christensen cutting his hair.
He was soo not liking it. Eventually he calmed down and played in the water. The results weren't bad at all.

He and Grandma after it was finished. He looks so different. He looks like a little boy, not my baby. Thanks Grandma.

Jamie is walking all over the place and loves to play with Mom's shoes. It is funny, when Jamie started walking it was all of a sudden. Not just taking 1 or 2 steps and falling down but up and running. We went over to Grandma and Grandpa Christensen's and he saw Brayden and Elena walking and said "I can do that" and the within 2 days he was walking. Now he is cruising like a Pro. His most recent obsession is walking around with shoes. Not his own of course, but with Mom or Dad's sandals. From one end of the house to the other and back again with a shoe in each hand. He doesn't go quietly, he's full of babble and giggles. Eventually we have a trail of shoes all over the house. He's a funny one for sure.

Third Rock from the Sun

There is a song by Joe Diffie, called Third Rock from the Sun.

Jamie was going crazy spinning and spinning tonight, and I couldn't help but think about this song. The chorus specifically:

"Cause and effect, chain of events

All of the choas makes perfect sense

When you're SPINNING round, things come undone

Welcome to Earththird rock from the sun."

Anyway, I thought it was really funny and thought I'd share.
