Almost stiches

This morning, Brionney took a nasty fall right into the metal bed frame of our bed. After consulting assessing the damage, Daddy and I took her to the Instacare. She has two teeth marks inside her lip and a deep scratch under the line of her lip on the outside. She calmed down pretty quick but the scratch was pretty deep.
She was not happy on the way to the Doctors.

Our girl does not like Doctors or nurses. She did fine until one of them came into the triage room.
She did not like the topical numbing ointment they gave her.
After another look after it was numb, we decided stitched were not  necessary.  She could have had some but this Instacare didn't have sedation for children so we would have to take her to the ER or hold her down and keep her still while the Doc gave her stiches. She was screaming enough just looking at it and putting this ointment on. If she didn't absolutely need them, we weren't going through the trauma. Let's hope it doesn't scar.

This afternoon, Jamie and I were making spaghetti sauce while B was playing. Then we heard the thump. She fell down the stairs and has a big red mark on her forehead. You can kind of see it in the picture- above her left eye. She has two teeth marks on her lip, a gash below her lip, and now a carpet burn on her forehead. SCORE!
I hope she feels better quick.
Thanks Grandma and Aunt Hanna for watching Jamie so Mom and Dad could take B to the Docs.
And thanks for keeping her entertained through the rough spots today.
Welcome Home.
We had a mini Chipman reunion while we were there and Tashina got the snake out for us all to see.

Jamie got to pet Cleo.

Miss B thought it was pretty cool too.

Of course Daddy couldn't be left out.

Colonial Village

Fourth of July weekend we went up to  Manti for a family reunion. After the reunion to went to see Jason's parents. Grandma and Grandpa were participating in the community's Colonial Fest. The whole park was set up with colonial times activities.

Jamie took a time out in the stocks.

My heros.

Grandma and Grandpa had a pottery booth. Daddy was able to make a ceramic bowl.

Jamie had fun doing the children's chores activities.

Brionney and I found some Indians. So cool. We missed the soldiers.
This was so much fun. We will definitely go back next year.
