Birthdays

Brionney turned 4. Where has the time gone?
She received clothes, a fairy doll and Else with a matching play dress.

Jesse's first birthday soon followed.
We made our own party hats.

Cake time.

And there he goes, lickin' it up like a dog. Gross.

I'm 1! Woot, woot.

He received a Wookie and a big boy bed.

The bed didn't go over well that night.

A few nights later, I got up to check on him and he had disappeared. I called for Jason and we searched the whole house. New house, unfamiliar terrain, late in the night... where could this child have gotten off to? We finally flipped on the light and found two little feet peeking out from beneath his bed. He had crawled off the bed and burrowed beneath it. I have no idea how he did it because Jason had to lift the bed for us to get him out. Only took about 15 minutes and 10 years off my life. Bravo.

We laugh about it now.
How could we stay mad at that little face?

End of 2015

Star Wars, Episode VII.
Of course we got ticket for opening night.
Dad, Uncle Ethan and Jamie went to see it... in full costume.
Dad and Jamie are Jedi's and Ethan is Darth Vader.

We finished the year up North in Orem for Christmas.

Never one to pass up on play in the snow, we spent a day in Mt. Pleasant sliding down the driveway.

Jesse got his first haircut by his GG Chipman. He looks so good.
He sat still through most of the it chewing on his spoon.

We welcomed the new year with Tashina's wedding.

The kids enjoyed the cake...

And we bought a house!!! LOVE it, weird quirks and all.

Watermelon Baby

I have always wanted to do this with one of my babies.

It's harder than it looks. This child would not smile to save his life.
But he is precious... and he loves watermelon.

Provo Temple

The kids love going to the temple with we get up north. Provo is our favorite.

They just hate posing for all of Mom's pictures.

Seriously Jamie!

They love getting their hands wet. They'd probably "fall in" if they could.

They love climbing the big hills and rolling back down.
This time Brionney just wasn't having it and ended up just walking down.

And Jesse and I just laughed an watched from the bottom.
It won't be long until he's climbing after his siblings.

Spring

Kindergarten Graduation. Of course they sang the cute little songs that made us all smile and laugh.
And then he walked across the stage and posed for pictures and made me want to cry.

He dressed up for what he wanted to be when he grew up. Today it was a fireman.
Where did the last 6 years go?

These two love trying on shoes. They have a long way to go and big shoes to fill.
But it won't take them long...

Seriously? Look how cute Jesse is and so tiny. And he is either curled up tight or sprawled and kinked into positions that make me hurt just to look at him. But he sleeps so well- some nights all night long.

Grandma's last days

Jesse James was blessed just days before Grandma returned to her Heavenly Father.

Jesse only had a few weeks to get to know his GG but we made every moment count.

Those last days she didn't wake up but her Spirit was close.

Jamie and Brionney loved visiting with GG as well. It was our last opportunity to serve her.
We helped feed her and rubbed lotion into her arms one last time.

She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 27, 2015.
She's already working her magic on the other side. Not a day goes by that she is not missed, remembered and loved.

GG and GGpa Chipman

Look who came for a visit!

Jason's grandparents surprised us with a visit when they came down for a temple trip.
They got to meet the newest member of our family as well.
It's always a pleasure- come again!!!
