We're Back!!

We were in Orem all last week visiting with Jason's family. We had a blast! I was able to play and help make Valene, Tashina, and Sara watch bands. Yay for me, I had a blast, hope they did too.
While we were there, we had our pictures taken. I think they turned out rather well.

We also made a trip out to Mount Pleasant to Jason's Grandfather's home.
Four Generations of Chipmans:

And to my complete and utter horror, but amungst much laughter and humor of the Chipman Crew, Jamie ate a piece of doggie treat. Jamie had been sharing his treats all week so I guess the pups decided to share as well, as you can see by the red crumbs on his face. Last I checked animal crackers weren't red.

All in all we had a great and fun week.

WE ARE DONE!!!

Finally we are finished! For the past ten months we have been struggling with Jamie's Acid Reflux. Finally the fight is over, WE WIN! Last week I totally messed up the timing on his meds. I watched him like a hawk all day- and nothing. He wasn't fussy. He didn't throw up. He didn't get hiccups. NOTHING! I called the Doctor early the next morning. We were to reduce the medicine to once a day for three to five days. If he got worse, go back to twice a day- the war is not yet over. But if there was no reaction, take him off! We have now been a four days without the meds and he's fine. He's happy and full of laughs and giggles! YAY YAY YAY!!!

The First Big One

This last weekend, Travis and Tina were here with their families, along with Noah and Carlaya. We had a blast. But Jamie did a have few rough moments. The worst was when he decided to climb the stairs. The gate was at the top not the bottom of the stairs, but he's never climbed before, so I thought nothing of it. Jamie was down playing with his cousins when he took the tumble down about five stairs. He scraped his nose and forehead and he's been sore and fussy for the past few days. But he's otherwise just fine. Yeah for me, I did not freak out.

Why did I want him mobile?

HE IS INTO EVERYTHING!!! He's discovered the pantry and everything on the floor INSIDE the pastry.

And the dishwater . . . Let's just say dishes get done really fast now. He likes to take the silverware out.

We are discovering how unbaby proof our home is. The entertainment center, shoe basket, trash cans, cords . . . We've also discovered the fridge, the toilet, and doors. Why, why, why, WHY did I want him mobile?

Photo Opportunity

Last week the weather was awesome. Cold, but awesome none the less. So we grabbed the camera and went outside. Jamie did NOT like sitting in the grass. However, he loves the swing at our park.
