We went shopping today. We finely came up with a solution for our table cloth. PLASTIC! Plastic will cover any cool and cute fabric for our table cloth. This piece will last longer than a day and we have enough to put under Jamie to protect the carpet. BRILLIANT! And kinda cute, don't you think?

Sleeping on the couch

Jamie was grumpy the other day and I was on the couch, but he wouldn't go to sleep in his room. So I laid on the couch and he came up beside me and fussed himself to sleep. And this is how he slept, one foot supporting him on the floor and everything else on the couch. Surprisingly he stayed that way for awhile before he started to squirm.

Impromptu camping trip

Our AC went out last week. So, we got a swap cooler from Dad and turned on all our fans. We decided to sleep downstairs on the futon, after trying unsuccessfully to cool our bedroom. Thankfully the motor was fixed very quickly and is working just fine now.
Of course Jamie slept with us and took over the bed.

My son

Jamie is such a dork! This is his new favorite crawl. Unless you have something he wants really bad, he'll just take his time . . .

Notice when he comes back around the coordination between his arms and legs. Hilarious!

We've got a walker!

Not to be outdone by Brayden or Elena, Jamie has decided to walk himself. Only very short distances, but walking is walking!

How to kill a catcus?

How to kill a catcus:
1. Obtain a cactus.
2. Put it in a pot.
3. Put it out side.
4. Water once a week.

How to revive a cactus?

1. Bring the cactus inside.

2. Keep on kitchen counter.

3. WATER DAILY!

The big one is coming back to life and growing really fast, but the red one isn't looking very good.

I've seen the light

Home Depot had a special a few weeks ago, 15 LED falshlights for $15. These have become Jamie's favorite thing lately. It's really funny to watch him.

Orem

We went to Orem last weekend. We had a blast. Tashina and Ethan went through the Temple. It was so fun to be able to experience that with them.
While up there, we did some grocery shopping and ran into these dorks. I guess boredom really is a disease. My sister, Hanna, and our cousin, Valorie, decided to play dress-up. Then processed to go grocery shopping with Aunt Donna before coming home with me.

Quad: fun sized

Jamie got a quad! He loves his new toy. He'll push, pull and drag it everywhere. And then Dad comes home . . . and off they go! He needs another inch or two and he can ride and drive it himself. Until then, Dad is the motor, because Mom doesn't do sound effects.

School is out!

We have our first tomato from our gardern. Jamie thought it was a really fun toy to throw around.
School is out. I did awesome and have four weeks to myself until it starts up again. YAY for me!

two weeks

I have two weeks left of school. I have been preping for finals all day! I have two tests, a quiz, and a paper due next week. The week after that are finals on Wednesday. Then I am DONE for four whole weeks! YAY!

Jamie has discovered pillows now as well. He'll dive right in and lay there smiling and laughing. He knows what to do with it. He'll also puff his cheeks and blow. He'll just be crawling and climbing blowing away. Where he learned this I've no idea.

I made the mistake of putting M&Ms in popcorn this week. He will no longer eat the popcorn, though it used to be his favor snack. He'll just dig around until he finds the M&M in the bottom. Stubborn child, but he knows what he wants and where to find it.

Look what I've learned to do!

Hanna, Jamie, and I were eating dinner last week and I guess he decided he was just too far away. He's been standing up lately, but he's always stayed in his chair.

He just looked at me like "What Mom?"

Notice the hand in Hanna's water glass.

He normally just pushes the buttons, but now he knows that it does cool things to the TV.

Jason was gone last week for work so Jamie and I were watching TV waiting for bedtime when he started talking really loud and fast, "Dadada." I looked over and he had my phone pressed to his ear talking to his Dad. Luckily he hadn't called anyone, but he thought he was something special.

Jason was at the table, I was at the computer and Jamie was off playing. We heard some yelling and banging so we looked over and this is what we saw. Jamie had climbed over the cooler, on top of a blanket to a box, and onto his toy chest. He was yelling, laughing and banging, having a good time. He stayed there for a good ten minutes before he crawled down and went in search of something else to concur.
