Christmas at the Chipmans

Santa Claus found us this year. Pepper must have been very generous in his report to Santa Claus.
 Daddy with his treasures.

Mommy and her treasures.

Jamie Boy made out like a bandit.
Ignore the smile- he was in one of his silly moods.

This was Missy B's first Christmas. She opened her pajamas on Christmas Eve but that was all. She was sick with a nasty flu bug and just wanted cuddled.

Merry Christmas!!!

Let it snow!

We got snow in Southern Utah.
It was late at night but it covered quite a bit.

By the time we all awoke the next morning it was mostly gone.

But the next week we got some more!
While Missy B was sleeping, Jamie and I went out to play. We scraped the cars and sidewalks to fill two small coolers and make two snowmen.

Jamie was in love. It was freezing cold but we didn't waste time with real shoes. In true Southern Utah style we went out in sandals. We had intended to have a snowball fight with Hanna when she came home but we lost track of time, by then the snow was frozen into a huge lump in each cooler. Bummer.

Pepper

Day 11: Pepper colored pictures of himself with Santa Claus and Jamie and Brionney.

Day 12: Wrapped 'gifts' he found around the house- Jamie's car, Brionney's crackers, Wii remote. Looks like he ran out of time to wrap another car and Daddy's shoe.

Day 13: Dressup with Miss B's shirt and Mommy's clip

Day 14: Caught up in the wreath

Day 15: Playing Candyland with a horse, doll, and the Tree Angel

Day 16: Eating chips up on the shelf

 Day 17: Reading Christmas books

Day 18: Playing with the trains- poor horse

Day 19: With Daddy's shoes and keys with a note saying he would be back

 Day 20: Colored a picture

Day 21: Trapped in the laundry basket by Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Day 22: Tied down by cars and Little People

Day 23: We found a note saying good bye.
Pepper returned home to the North Pole to report to Santa Claus before the big day.

Merry Christmas!!!

We have a visitor . . .

We have a visitor. This is Pepper. He was sent to our home for the month to make sure we are being nice so Santa Claus can come to our house. We are all trying to be extra good, but Pepper seems to get in a bit of mischief during the night.

 Night 1: He played Daddy's X-Box.

Night 2: Soaked in a bowl of marshmallows.

Night 3: Rearranged our tree- all the balls are arranged in colored groups.

And in the process got all tangled in the beads.

Night 4: Got stuck in the fridge while drinking a soda.

Night 5: Swinging on the Christmas lights.

Night 6: Spelled his name with Jamie's cars.

Night 7: Swinging on the fan.

Night 8: Got caught in the decor above the sink.

Night 9: Ate a bag of licorice and got stuck.

Night 10: Built a house to read books.

Pepper has been with us 10 days.
14 days left until he goes home to report to Santa Claus.

Crafty Me

I have finally completed some of my crafty to do list:

Church puzzles for sacramant meeting and FHE. There are ten total.

We made mummies and ghost suckers- Jamie's favorite.

I made letters for the kids room. This was by far the hardest and longest. Knives and modge podge are not my forte and it was completely nerve wracking. But they look awesome!

October

We have had a busy month. I cut my hair again- its so short! But more manageable so I can't complain. I love it.

Jamie loves to play with his cousins- especially on the computer. Jamie is trying not to smile. Ten seconds before I took this picture they both had a blank zombie-like stare on their faces as they were concentrating on the game.

Jason found my craft box. Happy Halloween! Totally creepy.

And Missy B. She is crawling all over the house. She loves to crawl on her swing. Heaven forbid she actually sit in it.

She usually ends up like this. It takes her a few minutes for her to squirm out from behind it but then she starts all over again.

Jamie got to ride in a tractor while the field was being cut.

He talked the entire time and had the biggest grin!

Its been busy but fun.

Happy Halloween

Jamie was a dinosaur this year and loved to wiggle his tail. After receiving his treat at each house his trick was to wiggle his little tail then he was off to the next house. He was a little apprehensive in the beginning but quickly warmed as he realized all that candy was his for the taking.

Miss B was a ballerina. Mom and Dad sprayed our hair bright colors.

We made little mummies filled with candy corn and ghost suckers.

We carved some pumpkins.

Jason carved a dragon. Mine is the awesome dracula with 3D features.
The kids choose three stacked pumpkins- totally cute.

They looked awesome. We had a blast. Happy Halloween.
