Last weekend

Last weekend we went up to Orem. We'd never been to a corn maze, so we went to Thanksgiving Point. That was one big rocking chair. Lucky me, I could still climb up.

Jamie and Daddy climbed all the way up to the top of the hay stack.
Jamie loved climbing through the tubes under all the hay.

Pause ... we need to consult with the map.

Jamie, Grandma, and Grandpa as we near the end.

He liked bouncing on the huge spider's web.

Pumpkins!!!

We went for a train ride. Jamie LOVED it!!!

Grandpa rode a bike.

Daddy rode a bike.

Both guys went really fast and drew a crowd.

This weekend, Aunt Hanna took Jamie for a horse ride.

He laughed, screamed, and begged for more when the horse galloped.

Jason and I are doing well in school. Midterms are over and we are looking forward to Fall Break. Jamie likes to climb up with Jason and help do homework.

He colors and pushes buttons on the calculator.

Jamie is still having lots of fun with Aunt Hanna. They get into all kinds of fun stuff.

Sara got married a few weeks ago. We went up to Orem and had a blast.

Welcome to the family Kevin.

Jamie had fun with Sheila.

And we had lots of fun making funny faces on the way home.

Anyway, I had a Doctor's appointment today and all is well.

Baby girl is growing and squirming just like she's supposed to.

Baby # 2

I must be excited or something. We now have the crib up. I just need to make something to cute'n it up a bit.

I'm thinking levi bumpers around the mattress (not on the mattress as that is a health hazard). And a levi blanket like Jamie's.

I even helped put it together. It's a heavy sucker and in really good condition. Only cost us $.93!

My hot little Handyman. He's amazing and has already taught me how to lift and drop the sides.

Also, I have shopped lots of sales. We have a good little stash of girl clothes. The ultrasound is Friday. We'll see if I did awesome, or if we now have a good stash of baby shower gifts.

Sunday

First, Jamie got into the sawdust Thursday. He had a blast until he started rubbing his eyes. Needless to say, he had a bath. BUT he did not sneeze. His nose didn't run. His eyes didn't water and turn red. Meaning, his allergy medicine works VERY well. Horray!!!

And on Sunday, it rained on and off all day. It made some great puddles and Jamie just couldn't resist.

Needless to say, his clean pajamas were no longer clean (or dry).

Stomping and jumping.

Don't let him fool you. He is not as innocent as he looks.

I love this one. He's in mid-air.

We had fun. He tried to play in the same spots yesterday and today, but they were all dried up.

Jamie + Hurricane

Jamie loves loves loves living in Hurricane. He LOVES seeing Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Matthew, and Aunt Hanna everyday. He loves being able to play outside and making fun messes.

he's gone riding with a friend Andy and his family.

He and Hanna love playing with all the cool things they find.

He was so proud of himself.

He has a bus he loves be in, whether eating, playing, or watching movies.

haircuts

Grandpa and Grandma Chipman came to see us Labor Day weekend. We had our big four-wheeling trip in Alton on Saturday, and we had to speak in church on Sunday. Then Jamie and I both got haircuts on Labor Day. I was able to cut enough for the Locks of Love Foundation.

It's not that long anymore!!!

I had to cut 10 inches off!

Jamie was laughing through most of his cut. The vibration was tickling his ears.

Then when he was almost done, he licked the sheet. He received a full mouth of hair. Uncle Matt and I made a mad dash, but in the end I don't want to know how much he ate.

This is not the best picture, but this is how our cuts turned out.

A week and a half ago was my first OB appointment. The ultrasound was inconclusive to the sex of the baby, but was pointing towards a girl. Other than that everything went well. I have felt the baby move several times and whoever called them 'flutters' is seriously disturbed. They aren't flutters! There is something moving inside of your abdomen. Whatever, it's still cool. Sometimes it even takes my breathe away but it always makes me smile. My next appointment is Sept. 16. Two weeks to go and I already have ants in my pants. If the anticipation doesn't kill me- we'll talk then.

Jason is doing well in school so far, a bit stressed, but surviving. I am getting stressed about school as well. My professors are piling the work high and I don't even have my books yet.

Last weekend, Jason's parents came down to see us. We went up to Alton all day Saturday and went 4-wheeling with Tina and Kory. Had a blast, saw some deer, got a little too much sun. Thanks again Tina. Then lucky us, we had to speak in sacrament meeting in our new ward of two weeks. We both did AWESOME! if I do say so myself.

Now it's time to get down and dirty again with all our school work. One down, 15 weeks to go. Hurray!
