Our first camping as a family went very well. We were at the KOA in Richfield, UT. Seriously, the campsite was right in the middle of town. Walmart 5 minutes away, electricity, showers and bathrooms, swimming pool, playground, and ATV trails seconds away. My kind of camping. We had a blast.
Jamie found a friend in the adjacent campsite. They played constantly and had lots of fun.
Brionney was just crazy. We couldn't keep her shoes on her (and she loves her shoes) and she likes to be on her head now. Here she is high-centered over the log surrounding the bonfire pit.
We found the playground on Day 2.
This is Jamie's "only is I must" smile. Did it on purpose to mess with my pictures.
Brionney learned she could go down the slides by herself but they were a bit steep so she didn't always stop at the end. She went flying off the edge and plopped onto her little bottom. She thought this was hysterical.
Jamie loves slides as well. He thought is was funny to run away from me and the camera. Luckily for me, I am faster than my boy... sometimes.
We all got to ride the quads. The kids had a blast.
Brionney spent the weekend with her Uncle Ethan. The whole time she was calling for him and never left his side for long. "Ethan" was the first word on her lips in the morning and the last at night.
Jamie had fun teasing his Grandma and Grandpa and cuddling by the fire.
We had fun and got down and dirty on the way home.
Love her cheesy grin.
But she was not thrilled with her shower upon returning home.
Best camping trip ever! Hope to do it again next summer.
