Exhausted

Mommy came home from work, fed the baby, and cooked dinner.  After eating I left Brionney playing and Jamie eating to start folding the mountain of clean laundry on the bed. Jamie had been whining all through dinner about not being able to eat with his spoon. I told him to use the fork I gave him to finish his spaghetti but apparently this mom is not as smart as her boy and he didn't listen. The whining continued and I kept folding. A little while later I realized the whining had stopped- Mommy radar went screaming. What was he into now?

Apparently my little man was exhausted. Covered in spaghetti head to toe, I carried him off to bed. He awoke when I stripped him down but curled up on his pillow and went right back to sleep. Brionney followed him down within the hour. SCORE!!! Both kids in bed before 8:30. YAY!!! Unfortunately, Jamie awoke at 10:30 after his little nap- wide awake.

Father's day

Jason's parents were able to come see us for Father's Day.

Tashina, Sara, and Jason decided to get their parents a helicopter ride in celebration of father's day and their mother's birthday.

Your eyes do not deceive you- there are no doors on that helicopter.

And our daddy got his scrapbook page and a new tie covered with pictures of our kids.

Happy Father's Day!!!
Happy Birthday Grandma!!!

Swimming lessons

Jamie just completed his first set of swimming lessons.

He loved playing along the side.

Even though he hates putting his head in the water he floated on his back.

Jamie with his teachers.

Jamie's version of jumping off the diving board. But he was so proud and excited to tell me all about it when I got home from work.

Grandma's Funeral

Three weeks ago Jason's grandmother passed away. After 97 years on this earth she returned home to her loved ones on the other side.

My men at the veiwing. This is Jamie's 'hurry up and get the picture over so I can play' smile.

This is his 'mommy will take the game away if I don't look good' smile.

I loved her casket. It was beautiful, very plain but rich gorgeous wood.

This is Grandma's Urn.
Jason's father made it special for her then draped with with some of her most beautiful neckalces.

The poll bearers taking Grandma outside. Jason and Jamie were given this honor.

All in all we got to see some long lost relatives and had a ball. On the other hand, Brionney got another ear infection with the elevation change. But it was a fun weekend.
We miss you GG Evans! We love you lots.

100 Days Old

Miss B is 100 days old!

Memorial Day, May 28 Brionney turned 100 days old

In celebration of this grand event, we showered her with 100 rose petals.

The little pill was happy as can be and wouldn't hold still for a second.

But who can blame her with that beautiful smile and giggle.

Jamie wanted in on the action as well.

Beautiful smile on a handsome boy.
This is how the game started.

 Brionney was out almost immediately.

Jamie took a little longer he was out within the hour.

So much for playing the Star Wars game with Daddy.
