We spent last weekend with Jason's family. We held a little Cousin party for all of his older parties. We had dinner and played games all night. It was really fun. And of course I forgot to snap some pictures.
Jamie got some more birthday presents. He got his own hooded towel, Your Baby Can Read, more books, and some cars that change colors in the bathtub. Needless to say, the cars were the biggest hit. My favorite was the Your Baby Can Read Program. We've tried it out a few times and he gets more into it everytime. I also received a gift card to Kohls'. And once again, I forgot to take pictures. It was an awesome weekend full of fun. However, we are grateful to be home again.

Jamie is keeping us laughing all the time. He'll run around the house, pause and strike a pose, then start running again. And when I say start running, his feet run in place before his body gets the message. He reminds me of those silly cartoons when their feet are spinning and long gone before the rest of the body moves to catch up. He does this funny sideway skip thing too. He's just a crazy kid, can't help but love him. He has gotten SO independent lately. If he's told no, then he'll drag his stool around to do it himself.Such as going outside. He didn't want to wait for me.

He was grunting and growling trying to figure out how the locks worked.

He found some nail clippers in my purse and decided he wanted to clip his toe nails.

Lucky me, they are stiff and somewhat dull.

Any guesses what he's going to be when he grows up?

Anytime he gets a flash light he tries to look in our mouths, including his own sometimes.

I pulled out the paint last week and Jamie wanted to paint too. So we drove cars thru the paint and made car tracks. It mostly just made a mess, but we had fun.

  1. Car Painting. LOVE IT! This was always my kids favorite. I haven't done it in years. I guess I should do it with Brayden I'm sure he'd love it just as much as every one else did.
