We had a mini Chipman reunion while we were there and Tashina got the snake out for us all to see.

Jamie got to pet Cleo.

Miss B thought it was pretty cool too.

Of course Daddy couldn't be left out.

Colonial Village

Fourth of July weekend we went up to  Manti for a family reunion. After the reunion to went to see Jason's parents. Grandma and Grandpa were participating in the community's Colonial Fest. The whole park was set up with colonial times activities.

Jamie took a time out in the stocks.

My heros.

Grandma and Grandpa had a pottery booth. Daddy was able to make a ceramic bowl.

Jamie had fun doing the children's chores activities.

Brionney and I found some Indians. So cool. We missed the soldiers.
This was so much fun. We will definitely go back next year.

Summer Time

We live ten minutes form Quail Lake. This summer we are taking advantage. We've been out there almost every weekend. Jamie LOVES the water. He is all over the place.

Brionney has one fear- water. She curls into a ball on my shoulder trying to keep herself out of the water. But she'll lean down and splash with her hands.

This past weekend we took the boat with us. SO much fun.
Will definitely be doing this again.

 Jason and Hanna

Jamie waiting patiently for his turn. He liked being in the boat best.
(Funny face is due to the sun in his face.)

Brionney and Mom watching Dad and Aunt Hanna on the tube.

Despite my fear of the water. I turn many turns in the tube and loved it!
The faster the better.

Jason took a turn by himself hoping to be dumped in the water. No such luck.
But he had fun anyway.

In the end, Missy B fell asleep, no one was dumped in the water (Jason threw himself off), and no one got sunburned. Awesome! See you soon, Quail Lake!

Jamie's Birthday

Jamie choose hot days for his breakfast, lunch, and dinner for his birthday.
He got hot dogs for lunch and dinner.

 Ice cream cones for dessert!

One of his Sunbean teachers dropped by with a gift.

For his actual birthday, Mom and Dad had to work opposite shifts. So we held off the real celebration for a day. He choose pancakes for his breakfast.

Then we went to Cafe Rio for his lunch and free birthday dessert.

He got lots of presents from Grandma and Grandpa, Mom and Dad, and cousins.

He was a rockstar all day and just went with the flow. Last night he informed me we didn't have a birthday cake. He had ice cream and a tres leches cake but no bday cake. So he helped me make cupcakes last night and we had them tonight. Poor kid celebrated his birthday for 3 days until we finally got it right.
Happy Birthday Jamie!!!

Family Vacation

We put a glow stick in a bottle of bubbles. The Bubbles did't glow but the solution did.
We sprayed people and trees and it looked cool.

We played on Provo temple grounds.
It think it may be my new favorite temple.
The big hills are perfect are running and rolling.AWESOME!!!

They have these trees that you can walk under and stand. So cool inside.

Brionney would not stay out of the dog kennel.

Jamie got lots of cool presents for his birthday!

Zoo pt 2

We past the rhinos again later on adn they were so close and HUGE!!!

 Jamie the rhino wrestler!

They guys are so tall and beautiful.

I love turtles. This little guy looked like he just collapsed with
exhaustion with his feet spread out. So cute.

These two were huge! As big as our wagon at least

Nasty creatures were big too. They give me chills. Gross.

This guy was big too. His counterpart was in the pond blowing bubbles.

Hoogle Zoo rocks and we will definitely be back when the construction is finished.

Family Vacation

I really do feed my kiddos but Brionney is mostly impatient these days.
Something to do with her indepenedent stage.
On this day I was helping Daddy get out the door to school. B was too hungry to wait.
We call this the three day rule at our house.
We were packing the car so we could head out of town. This was a half loaf of french bread. When she was done with it the entire top portion of the loaf was gone. She has eaten it all.

We went to the Hoogle Zoo during our vacation.
 Elephants were cool.
 Rhinos were huge!
There were all kinds of monkeys but this is the only picture that looked good.
Beatufil monkey. he started swinging around with the baby after I took this. Awesome.
Miss B loved the seals, sea lions and polar bear.
This bear was so funny. He loved all the attention. He'd do flipps and splacsh the window and stay close for us to see. It was awesome.
The seal was huge! and pretty well trained.
While waiting for the bird show we rode the Marry-Go-Round.
B rode the Leopard for the first three circles. Then she freaked and she held a death grip on Daddy for the last three circles.

Jamie rode the Snow Leopard and LOVED it. He kept asking it he could ride it again all day day.
The bird show was amazing. The is the American Eagle. So cool. They had several birds- vultures, parrots, hawks, owls, etc. They would all fly over the audience several times. They were so low you could feel the air move over your head. Some were trained to take you money donations. The parrots could talk and sing. So cool.

More to come later.
