Happy Birthday Dad!

This is a crazy time for us. Daddy is away at school and work all the time so we didn't get to celebrate his birthday. So we packed it all up and took it to him. We had his birthday in the parking lot of Kohl's- presents, song, and cupcakes.

 Happy Birthday Daddy!

Miss B is a very fun girl to have at our house. She and her brother are forever playing and laughing.
They are awesome together.

She loves to put things over her head and walk around. It is funny to see her try to play with her toys with blankets, ribbons, and what not draped on her.

I took a shower. In the ten minutes I was not with them - they found the candy. Jamie helped himself to two candy bars and gave one to Brionney to enjoy. It took her thirty minutes but she finally ate her 100 Grand fun siaze candy bar. She was a mess! But as you can tell- she didn't mind at all.

Pinata

I amde this pinata when I was in eighth grade- 12 years ago. It's a lightbulb!
At first I was just so proud of it that I couldn't break it open.

It was packed away and I found it again! Still of full of candy ...

Jamie took a whack at it.

Mommy had a turn.

And Daddy finished it off!

We collected the candy and went inside.
The gum, when we did finally manage to crunch it, turned to powder in our mouths before turning into gum. The rest was hard as a rock.
In the end, none was salvagable and we had to throw it all away.

St. Patrick's Day

Uncle Ethan came to stay with us for St. Patrick's Day. While he was here we had a small visitor.
A leprecahn came to visit us. He left us some green snacks to eat throughout the day. Then he hid our left shoes around the house. Lucky us, Jamie was here to find them all for us.

In true holiday spirit, we had a green breakfast and dinner. We also made green jello cups.
It looked like an Irish Pub when dinner was over but we had a great day.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

Temple Trip

We love visiting the temple.

Miss B loves her new found freedom in walking-
if only Mom and Dad would remember to bring her shoes.

Jamie climbed all the way to the top and he was so proud of himself.
He has also enjoyed his new found freedom- Mom and Dad are chasing B.
Jamie runs ahead and gets into all kinds of mischief now.

Family Game Nights

Family Game Night:
Flour Game
Place a penny on a tower of flour.

Slowly cut the flour away.

When the penny falls- using your lips and teeth, retrieve the penny.
Jamie suprisingly has a very steady hand and did awesome with this game. After Jamie tried and tried, Daddy dug in and retreived the penny.

Candy Bar Game:
Roll doubles
dressup with a hat, scarf, and gloves

Eat a slivers of candy until someone else rolls doubles.

Jamie's turn. He LOVED playing these games with the adults. He did well with both games.

Uncle Matt and Aunt Hanna

Daddy!
We have been trying to do more things as a family. Jamie can't really play board games yet so we went the unconventional route. So much fun. We are having friends over to play the same games.
FUN, FUN, FUN!!!

Valentine's Day

The family awoke to pink scrambled eggs, blueberry muffins, oatmeal with pink milk, and strawberry milk. The table was covered with a red cloth covered with hearts and conversation hearts. The kids were the most excited for those.

Last year at this time we were anxiously awaiting the arrival of Baby B.
This year are looking forward to her birthday.

Saturday, we had a family party for Brionney. Tina made this super awesome cake.

This is Brionney's cake she gets to eat all by herself.

Her birthday oufit is a homemade tutu and matching head band. Adorable. Love it!!!

She had a hard time getting started opening her presents but she got the hang of it.

She didn't do much damage to her cake but lots of the frosting was missing by the time she was done.

On her actual birthday we had a few gifts and brownies with a candle. Jamie and I have been practicing with her to teach her to blow her candle but in the end Mommy had to do it.

She LOVED her brownie!

After the sun went down, we had a campfire and roasted marshmallows for smores.
Yummy Yummy!

Brionney just ate the marshmallows.
Jamie and Elena loved to light their marshmallows on fire. Whatever works for you, I guess.

Brionney's accomplishments:
1. She is walking all by herself.
2. She can say Mom. Dad comes out now and then but we've been working on Mom lots!
3. She sleeps 8-9 hours a night.
4. She loves to dance. Any music will set her body to wigglin', including at music at church.
5. She loves her big brother and follows him all over the house.
6. Brionney loves to talk and giggle. If she's awake just follow her voice and she can be found.
7. She can climb stairs  with no problems. It is rather common to find she has escaped the apartment and can be found upstairs. She is still mastering coming back down them by herself.

Happy Birthday Beautiful! We love you so much.

We've been having fun!

Jamie loves his little sister. They are usually together playing the day away.

Brionney has mastered the stairs. She frequently sneaks away from Mom and can be found upstairs proud as can be. If however she is caught sneaking away- she grins and crawls as fast as she can to get away.

Kiddos love Daddy time.

I had a birthday. It was a great day. We got to spend time with both our families.

Road trip to Orem!!! Brionney did amazing in her big girl car seat.

Jamie is as cheesy as ever. Cute boy and best big brother.

We are looking forward to Brionney's first birthday next week and Valentine's Day!!!
