Park

After the farm, we went off to the park so the kids could let out some energy. Jamie has never gone done the slide without someone with him. This time, however, he did it all by himself. Although it did freak this Mom and everyone else out.

After he slid down, his hair was full of electricity- stickin' straight out. So cute. This is one of April's pictures, she did an awesome job, thanks.

Farm

Tina's friend, April, was in town last week. We had her take some pictures for us and of course, they were AWESOME! We went out to the Church Farm and had a blast. These are not April's, they are mine. But they are still cute. The three babies started out happy in the wagon, but it didn't last long.
Jamie loved his balloon!

And then it popped, it was the silence before the storm. We all thought it freaked him out and were waiting for the cry. But not my little man, instead he belts out his laughter. Funny little man.

Rain, rain, rain

This past week, we've gotten more rain than I have ever seen. Crazy, but I've loved it! HATED the thunder and lightening, they just freak me out and drive me to insanity.
I have LOVED the rain. Jamie couldn't get enough of it.

He didn't know what to think about all the lightning and thunder either.

After a bit, we moved to the back door.

He loved the runoff from the roof.

But it didn't take him long to get farther out.

Look, what I did!
Watching the rain continue, all snug and warm.

midterms

I was busy Monday morning studying and doing a homework assignment. I turn away for 30 seconds!!! I had a huge assignment, and four tests to study for. This I did not need. Of course when Jamie spilled the box, the plastic bag came out as well. So he grabs it and finishes the job, notice it is empty on the floor right next to him.
When I insisted he help clean up the mess, he heard "Play Time!" He walked all over them, giggling at the crunch and tickle between his toes.

His idea of help, when I finally got him off the cereal, was to eat them all up.

Oh the joy of little boys.

Jamie

Jamie does not fall asleep easily, unless he's in his bed. He's just learned to fold his arms and loves to do it. We were watching TV the other night and Jamie crawled up on my lap. Not ten minutes later, Jason looks over and sees this:He also loves to be chased. After dinner last week, he grabbed the empty sour cream carton and took off!

I love his toothy little grin. He's adorable.

We were in Orem this past weekend visiting Jason and the family. They have two dogs and he loves LOVES loves them. He'd chase them all over the house but no matter how hard he tried he could not get them to chase him back. We went to Bridal Veil Falls. Jason, Jamie, Sara, Tashina, and Natalie climbed up to the top. Of course I forgot the camera again so no pictures. But we had fun anyway. It was fun to see everyone, but it's always good to be home.

Habitat for Humanity

Two weeks ago, we were able to participate in a project for Habitat for Humanity. My school group is required to do service projects so many times during the year. So early Saturday morning, we went to help with yard work. We cleared the front and back of weeds. We also cut down many, many tree branches. This was Jamie's favorite part. This is my school group, missus three, that we were able to come help. (Sorry it's so dark.)

Jamie had a blast and everyone commented on how cute he is and what a good little helper he was. The house was only about five minutes from home, but we didn't get half way home before, he was OUT!

Jamie

It is just me or do children sleep in the weirdest positions?
We have all kinds of pictures of Jamie just sprawled out snoozing away.

This is him taking his nap last week.

He WAS at the top of his bed with his head ON the pillow.

Just this week, I tried putting Jamie down for his nap. He was restless, but nothing too out of the ordinary. Until I look over and he's wrestling with his pillow. He's grabbed it in his arms and is pulling it over his body and lying there growling at it. Then he's flings/kicks it over to the side of him and pounces on it. Then he drags it back over him. He does this over and over again. Later, when I check in on him, he's fast asleep, completely under his pillow.
